Well Baby G a lot has happened since our last blog, and perhaps the biggest news is that you are a GIRL!  Mommy and Daddy found out yesterday that we have a little princess on the way 🙂  Mommy and your Nana and Aunts were all convinced that you were a boy, but you’re Daddy kept saying all along that you were a little girl…sure enough he was right.  We are so excited and the doctor said you are healthy and look great.  Now that we know you are a girl we can begin planning your nursery and narrowing down name choices.  I’m going to call it now based on your behavior during the doctor’s appointment – you are going to stubborn just like your Mommy.  You did not want to cooperate during the ultrasound, every time the nurse tried to get you to move you would roll the other way.  You were scrunched up in a ball with your hands and feet in your face.  You are very flexible and I think you are going to have long fingers just like Mommy.

You took your first vacation last week to Turks and Caicos.  You had a great time!  We stayed at Grace Bay Resort and everyone we met can’t wait for us to come visit again with you.  You spent the week with Mommy and Daddy relaxing on the beach, getting sun, snorkeling, hobie cat sailing and boat rides.  We can’t wait to take you there in the future so you can have fun in the sun 🙂

On a sad note, we had to put down your big brother to be – Brady.  Unfortunately Brady was very sick and in pain and needed to go to Doggie Heaven so he can watch over us.  Although you won’t meet him, he wanted me to tell you that he loves you very much and he will be your guardian angel watching over you from heaven.  We are going to miss him very much but we can’t wait to share with you all the great stories of Brady and the memories we had together.

At this point we are at Week #21 and you are the size of a pomegranate.  Continue to stay strong and healthy Princess G!  We love you xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
