2016 Christmas Chaos – Monroe, NY
Dear Charlotte,
We survived your 3rd Christmas and let’s just say it was exhausting! Christmas is my favorite time of year – from breaking out the decorations, to picking out the tree, to baking cookies, to wrapping gifts, to most of all seeing your face on Christmas morning light up with excitement and joy 🙂 This year we hosted Mommy’s side of the family for the chaos and festivities. We had everyone up from Maryland, North Carolina and Pennsylvania – Nana, Aunt NeNe, Aunt Katie, Brycen, Aunt Stephie, Izzi, Aunt Melissa, Shelby, Andrew, Auntie Patty, Uncle Dan, Sean and Colleen. Needless to say everyone had a wonderful week of food, cocktails and gifts…and you and all of your cousins, Brycen and Izzi had a BLAST! For three days straight, the three of you were running around the house screaming, laughing and making a mess just about everywhere. You all were so crazy that we did have one trip to Urgent Care on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately it was you…you were running and tripped over your Minnie Mouse slippers and ended up hitting your forehead on the corner of the coffee table. You and I were both so upset but we got through it and just two staples later we were back home and making gingerbread houses. Santa was very good to you this year, you must have been a very good girl – gifts included Dory and Nemo, Elmo, Art Easel, Minnie Mouse everything, Barbie, clothes, stuffed animals and musical instruments. You spent Christmas day and night opening gifts and playing with them. I had so much fun watching you enjoy your gifts and the company of your family. Only 11 more months to go until Christmas 2017!
Love you peanut xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
