On the Move!

My dear Charlotte you just can’t sit still and mommy can’t turn her back on you for one second in fear that you will hurt yourself! You are on the move girl and the days where I could leave you in one place for a minute are long gone. You love to crawl, stand, go up the steps, splash in the dog’s water bowl, take the dog’s toys…it won’t be long before you are walking, and then we are really in trouble. Every day is an adventure and we have had so much fun this summer – pool, carnival, travel, music class – I’m sad that it is coming to an end. You are fast approaching your 1st Birthday – mommy can’t believe how quickly this year has gone by and I get sad seeing my little newborn baby grow into a little girl 🙂 Love you sweetie and keep mommy on her toes…it burns calories!
First Overnight Sleepover

You had your first overnight sleepover in Maryland at Aunt Patty’s house. You survived…but more importantly Mommy survived! I was so sad and missed you all night but I managed to get through it. Daddy thought we were going to have to go back to Severna Park and pick you up. You spent the weekend with Aunt Patty, Uncle Dan, Sean and Colleen. You had a blast and they loved having you. You went to the petting zoo, the beach and went on your first boat…just to have lunch! Mommy and Daddy spent the night in Baltimore to see the Billy Joel concert with friends. No more overnights for awhile 🙂
9 Months Old

I can’t believe you are nine months old already…you are growing up way too fast!! We had your doctor’s appointment and you did very well. Dr. Wong was impressed that you are eating all solid foods and sleeping through the night. He said you are perfect. You had one vaccine and didn’t even cry when you got the shot…both the nurse and myself were shocked. You are such a tough little girl 🙂
Raleigh, North Carolina – Meeting Aunt Treecie!

We traveled to Raleigh to finally meet your Aunt Treecie! She had waited a long time to meet you and we had a blast. We stayed at Aunt Treecie’s with Sergey, and their two Jack Russell Terriers – Misty and Jack. It was also Father’s Day Weekend – you celebrated your first one with Daddy – he loves you so much. Our trip was fun yet hot – it was record temps in the high 90’s but you survived and we went to the pool to cool off. We also visited with Nana, Aunt Jeanine, Aunt Katie and your cousin Brycen who were down for the week. We will definitely go visit Aunt Treecie again soon!
