Charlotte’s 1st Easter – April 5, 2015

We celebrated your first Easter yesterday! You opened your first Easter Basket which had a stuffed bunny and books. Your big Easter gift was a new highchair. It took Mommy and Daddy about an hour to assemble it (hopefully it won’t break with you in it) and we only argued about 10 times – Daddy isn’t very handy…Mommy should have just assembled it on her own while Daddy was out of town! You sat in your highchair like a big girl, only a few more weeks and we will try food 🙂 Mommy and Daddy had a delicious dinner of Grilled Lamb Chops, Roasted Asparagus and Potatoes Au Gratin, along with a bottle of Saldo Zinfandel. It was absolutely delicious…maybe next year you can eat some too 🙂
Palm Beach Gardens, Florida – Visit to Grandpa Grimm – March 26, 2014

Charlotte you survived your first commercial flight on United Airlines! We visited Grandpa in Florida for a long weekend, and our trip down was a MESS! Our flight was delayed 4 hours and needless to say you were a cranky and tired little girl…but I don’t blame you, I was tired and cranky too 🙂 Despite the rain and fog, we made it to Florida safe and sound. Grandpa and Uncle Pete were so happy to see you and couldn’t believe how big you have grown. The weather was cool and we spent most days hanging at the house and by the pool. You loved the water and swimming, which made Mommy very happy 🙂 I can’t wait for us to visit again so we can swim some more! The flight home was much easier, you slept the whole way..thank you! Oh and the best part was that you finally rolled over from your back to your belly…Grandpa witnessed the whole thing and was cheering you on, it was a special moment 🙂
Tyson’s Big Day!

Your brother finally had his surgery and was neutered yesterday! Poor thing is not feeling well and hates wearing the “cone of shame” 😦 We hope he feels better soon…acting like a crazy maniac and getting into trouble! His original appointment two weeks ago was rescheduled due to an expolosion at the animal hospital. An MRI machine exploded and the entire hospital had to evacuate including your brother who was already sedated for his surgery. Luckily nobody was injured and Tyson got to keep his balls just a little longer. Get well Tyson!

Charlotte you are growing like a weed! We had your 4-month doctors appointment and you weighed 13.24 pounds (30th percentile) and measured 25 inches long (75th percentile). Dr. Wong said you look perfect and healthy. You aren’t teething yet, which is a good thing, and two more months until we start real FOOD…but until then we will continue with the breast milk 🙂 I love spending my days with you, and feel very lucky to stay home and care for you. These days you are smiling, laughing and talking all the time…baby talk of course! You have a very tight grip and like to pull Mommy’s hair. You have already rolled over from your tummy to your back (3 months old) and are getting ready to flip from your back to your belly. You are sleeping well at night, but you are not a very good napper – you like to take 30 minute cat naps. Why nap when you can play! You are very alert and like to watch your two doggies, Tyson and Layla, and even enjoy petting them. Continue to get strong Charlotte Grace, I love you xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
