Thanksgiving 2017 – Monroe, NY

This years Thanksgiving was bitter sweet as we celebrated both our first and last Thanksgiving at our Monroe home. We celebrated with a new tradition called Turkey to the Table – in which everyone writes on a feather a blessing that they are thankful to have in their life. Our blessings included our health, our home, our freedom, food in our belly…and most importantly our family and friends. We were extra fortunate to share turkey weekend with Pop Pop, Nana, Andrew, Aunt Nene, and Uncle Donnie. The weekend was filled with fun, laughter and joy…a wonderful memory of our last and final holiday in our first home xoxoxoxo
Disney On Ice – November 2017

Mommy and Daddy had a special birthday surprise for you…Disney on Ice! It was a fun day filled with princesses and snowcones 🙂 All of your favorite Disney princess were there including Moana, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Elsa and Anna. And let’s not forget Minnie and Mickey!!!! You had so much fun watching them dance and sing, it was definitely a show to remember xoxoxoxo
Halloween Fun 2017

We had an awesome Halloween this year filled with super heros, candy and lots of pumpkin decorating! As a family we participated in trunk-or-treat at the YMCA which was a ton of fun. Daddy dressed up as Clark Kent/Super Man, and you, Mommy, and Auntie Patty dressed as Wonder Women 🙂 We as a family won 1st place in the costume contest which was very exciting! Halloween has become one of my favorite holidays to spend with you – we will have to start talking about what we will dress as next year!

Happy Birthday to my princess Charlotte! I can’t believe you are 3 years old, time really does fly when you are having fun 🙂 We started off your special day with what now is a birthday tradition “Birthday Pancakes” with whipped cream and extra sprinkles! You were smiling ear to ear as Mommy and Daddy sang happy birthday to you. We celebrated at home that evening with cake and ice cream later that day with Auntie Patty, Mrs. Rose, Mr. Vito, Kristi and your favorite girl Madisyn. You are a very lucky girl as you received lots of fun gifts including Hungry Hungry Hippo, puzzles and Barbie dolls! I’m so proud of you and the little lady you have become. You are kind, compassionate and almost always say please and thank you. On the other side of the spectrum you are stubborn as an ox…it’s that Sicilian blood in you 🙂 Mommy and Daddy love you so much and we look forward to the year ahead filled with laughter, love and adventures xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
First Official “Field Trip” – Warwick, NY

We had our first official field trip with Little Pals to go Apple Picking! Despite it being a very hot and sweaty day in September…we had so much fun! The day was spent singing songs, picking gala apples, riding the tractor, and eating donuts! We must have picked about 3 dozen apples – and we ate a few on the orchard 🙂 So much fun xoxoxoxo
Bedtime Shenanigans!

First Day of Preschool – Thursday September 7, 2017

We survived your first day of preschool and you absolutely LOVED it!!!! You couldn’t wait to get out the door and into the car…and GO 🙂 Your teacher is Miss Melissa at Little Pals Preschool. Both Mommy and Daddy were sad….you’ve grown up so quickly and it feels like yesterday that you entered this world. Mommy was so proud of you – you didn’t fuss, cry or beg for Mommy to stay. As soon as we picked you up you said “Mommy I want to go back, I like school!”
Turtle Back Zoo – West Orange, NJ

On Tuesday, August 29, 2017 we visited the Turtle Back Zoo with Mrs. Rose and you bestie Madisyn Rose. Despite a little rain, both you girls had a blast!
